Data Privacy Policy Statement

Estate Planning Practitioners (HK) Limited (“EPPLHK”) respects personal data
and is committed to complying with the data protection provisions of the Hong
Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. The protection of personal data is of
utmost importance to us and the purpose of this data privacy policy is to
explain how we collect and process personal data.

Personal Data

“Personal data” means any data or information about you from which you can
be identified.

The personal data we collect from you includes, but is not limited to:

• Full name, including aliases
• Identity document number
• Date of birth
• Nationality
• Highest level of education attained
• Occupation information including name of employer, position held,
  address of business and nature of employment.
• Contact details including house phone number, mobile phone number,
  email address and mailing address; and
• Other information such as the programme or event you registered, the
  course completion date.

We will ensure personal data is not accessible except by our trained staff who
will act in a proper and honest manner when performing their duties. Internal
policies and controls are in place to ensure personal data is prevented from
unauthorised disclosure, use, alteration or destruction.

Uses of Personal Data

Whenever personal data is collected from you, electronically or physically, the
purposes of the data collected will be specified. The personal data we collect
will be used for processing applications for enrolment, administrative
communication, web access, survey, research and statistical purposes and
marketing (including direct marketing). We may use information held about
you to promote our products and services that may be of interest to you. This
will include courses, webinars, seminars, events, promotions, privileges and
networking opportunities. Your data will solely be handled by EPPLHK staff but
for the above mentioned purposes, it may be transferred to and used by other
companies under contractual activities with EPPLHK.

Various communication channels will be employed such as direct-mail, email,
mobile phone and other forms of social media.

EPPLHK will disclose personal information only if required by law or with your
prior consent. Data may also be used in aggregate form for research and
statistical purposes and in such circumstances individual personal data will
not be disclosed.

Right of Access and Correction

You have the right to request access to and correction of their personal data
under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
if you wish to access or correct your personal information held by us, kindly
send your enquiry by email or by post to the Data Protection Officer. You also
always have the right to make subsequent changes on your choice of receiving
further marketing materials by sending a written unsubscribe request to the

device from which you access the Website including, where available, your IP
